Motorrad Ogliastra is the guide to motorcycle tourism in Sardinia, with itineraries dedicated to all motorcyclists who want to spend their holidays on the island's roads.

Below are the five itineraries included in our guide, each of which includes not only information on the roads but also suggestions for places to visit to get to know our island better.

The first itinerary, "Moto-tour of the Nuraghi", crosses the territory of the Wild Blue, passing through “Baunei” and “Cala Gonone”, proposing a stop at the archaeological museum of “Dorgali” and then at the archaeological site of “S'Ortali” e su “Monti”, where you can visit a nuraghe from the inside.

The second itinerary takes you to the village of “Orgosolo”, where for decades artists from all over the world have used the walls of houses to express their vision of the world through murals; it is no coincidence that we have called this itinerary "The City of Murals".

The third tour, “Ghost Places”, is dedicated to places that belong to the past. The route passes through the villages of “Gairo Vecchio” and “Osini Vecchio”, which are now completely uninhabited due to landslides caused by frequent rainfall.

Another important site is the “Monte Narba” silver mine, which can be reached by a few kilometers of dirt road. The mine was founded in 1800 and closed down after the First World War.

The fourth route takes us to the largest radio telescope in Europe, while the fifth of our motorcycle routes takes us to the southern part of Sardinia. The motorcycle routes have been created in collaboration with the Chena Cabu motorcycle club, which has tested the routes and drawn up the maps.
